Apathy

Have we become so numb to almost everything about us? today for tok the teacher showed a video on 'meet your meat' which showed some rather gory scenes of animal treatment by humans before they are sent to the slaughter house. chickens that are so fat their legs cant support them, chickens with their beaks cut off, bulls with their scrotum cut off with shears, pigs with their throats slit while still conscious and left to bleed to death, squealing away etc. well, almost everyone in the class had the opinion that the video had been heavily edited by computer, and the words in the video were misleading etc. one backward limE from the planet asnem even laughed out, finding the whole thing funny. wonder how he would think if the same were to happen to him.
