been a month and a week since i last blogged, and in the space of that time the exams have passed, leaving in its trail a disappointed me. still, what is over is over, and there is always next year.
in that time 2 friends i know are no longer friends with one another. makes me wonder how strong the bonds of friendships really are, whether they can withstand the test of time. two who knew each other for many years just suddenly end it all without a proper farewell, leaving me to ponder over whether those years mean anything to them. perhaps it was for the sake of friendship that we seek friends, and not for the friends themselves.
and as for creating an excuse for someone who keeps asking why i buy maps of different countries, just take it as me trying to find the proper path to tread. strangely some people have asked me what course i want to pursue next time, including my econs teacher, but frankly im not really sure. i know that it would be something plant related, since that is about the only thing that can sustain my years of intended study without being sick of it. i love to be vague about it, cos while my scope is already limited, i would still like to keep my options open. and another thing, i learnt from SAT course that the word 'being' is severely forebidden in American english usage. why? no one knows.
