progress, as we move forward. looking back, i realised that over the past 2 years, i have changed my perception towards things in general. taking plants as an example, i used to be so narrow minded, caring about learning everything only about one genera of plants, willing to ignore the rest of them. bit by bit, i started accepting that other plants werent that bad after all, and now have once more embraced plants i once termed normal and thus boring, with a more neutral stance.

i just hate having two faces, one to present to each side. keeping secrets, silences, is just not something i enjoy doing. human nature just cannot bear to let go of every niche in society, with jealousy even present within the circle of science. i think i should start fearing the outside world.
